The design consists of a detailed transfer print that has been vibrantly hand-colored with polychrome enamels over the glaze. The exotic scene depicts two figures in traditional Chinese dress amidst a garden of bamboo, oversized peonies, and tea-picking baskets, all framed by elegant geometric fretwork borders. Perfect for a country kitchen display or as unique decorative vases, they offer a brilliant pop of color and historic English charm.
