Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions govern purchases made through the Atelier Bellinzona online store. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with our Shipping Policy and Refund and Return Policy.

2. Products

Atelier Bellinzona specialises in antique, vintage and unique decorative objects, furniture, lighting and related pieces.

Due to the age and nature of these objects, signs of wear, patina, historical repairs, variations, minor imperfections and other traces of previous use may be present. These characteristics form part of the history and individuality of the piece and are described and photographed as accurately as possible.

Product photographs form an integral part of the description. Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography and the screen used to view the website.

3. Availability

Most items offered by Atelier Bellinzona are unique pieces and may also be available through our physical Atelier or other sales channels.

In the exceptional event that an item is sold simultaneously through another channel or becomes unavailable after an online order has been placed, we reserve the right to cancel the order. The customer will be informed promptly and any amount already paid will be refunded in full.

4. Prices and Additional Costs

Prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency applicable to the customer's selected market.

Delivery charges and other applicable costs are displayed or communicated before the order is completed whenever they can be calculated in advance.

For furniture, oversized, particularly fragile or otherwise exceptional items, a bespoke shipping quote may be required depending on the item and destination.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise stated.

5. Orders and Payment

An order is submitted when the customer completes the checkout process and receives an order confirmation.

Atelier Bellinzona reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of:

• an item becoming unavailable;
• an evident error in the price or product information;
• suspected fraudulent or unauthorised activity;
• inability to fulfil delivery to the requested destination.

If payment has already been received for an order that cannot be fulfilled, the amount paid will be refunded.

Payment is processed through the payment methods made available at checkout.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping methods, preparation times, delivery conditions, costs and procedures relating to transport damage are described in our Shipping Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Where an automatic shipping option is not available for a particular item or destination, please contact Atelier Bellinzona for a bespoke delivery quote.

Any delivery times indicated are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

7. Right of Withdrawal, Returns and Refunds

Consumers purchasing online have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, subject to the conditions and exceptions established by applicable consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law.

8. Damaged or Non-Conforming Goods

If an item arrives damaged, is defective or does not correspond to the product ordered, please contact Atelier Bellinzona as soon as possible.

Any procedures requested for documenting transport damage are intended to help us manage claims efficiently with the carrier and do not limit the customer's mandatory statutory rights.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, photographs, texts, graphics, branding and other content published on atelierbellinzona.com are owned by or licensed to Atelier Bellinzona.

They may not be reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

10. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, prices and other information published on the website are accurate.

However, occasional typographical, technical or administrative errors may occur. Where an evident error affects an order, we will contact the customer before proceeding and, where necessary, cancel the order and issue a refund.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.

Atelier Bellinzona is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, without prejudice to the customer's mandatory statutory rights.

12. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the country where the consumer resides.

13. Changes to These Terms

Atelier Bellinzona may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms applicable to an order are those available on the website at the time the order is placed.
