Details

A visually striking dialogue between early 17th-century botanical grandeur and 19th-century textile heritage, this framed print is a unique, highly decorative statement piece.

The artwork features a meticulously hand-aged botanical plate—a fine reproduction from the monumental Hortus Eystettensis (1613) by the legendary German botanist and apothecary Basilius Besler. The plate beautifully depicts two varieties of the "Honesty" plant: Lunaria graeca annua on the left and Lunaria graeca perennis on the right, celebrated for their sculptural, translucent seed pods. Treated with a bespoke finishing process, the paper acquires a warm, amber-toned historical depth. Framing the print is an exquisite, artisanal passepartout created by hand using the iconic "Fruit" wallpaper pattern designed by William Morris in 1862. Encased in a clean aluminum frame, this piece is "Everyday Poetry" reimagined: a contemporary curation designed to deliver maximum decorative power, perfect for layering textures into an eclectic study or gallery wall.
