Inspired by the late 18th-century chiffonnière designs, each nightstand is defined by crisp, rectilinear geometry. The bodies feature two front drawers highlighted by delicate gilt wood borders and fine, concentric metal button knobs. Elevating their functional luxury, the sides are equipped with an unexpected and charming pull-out slide lined in gold-tooled brown leather, perfect for an extra writing surface. The tables are topped with their original white veined marble inserts, beautifully framed by a classic pierced brass gallery. The entire structure stands on elongated, elegantly fluted, and tapered spindle legs (pieds en fuseau) finished with matching brass sabots. Artfully finished by hand in a distressed, warm ivory-grey lacquer, the light patination allows the rich undertones of the historic wood to show along the fluting and edges, providing a beautiful material depth.
