Antique Dal Vera Milano Wicker and Rattan Armchair with Castors (Early 20th Century)
Quality & Authenticity Note
Details
A delightful piece of Italian design history, this charming wicker armchair brings a touch of relaxed elegance and vintage Riviera charm to any interior. Crafted in the first half of the 20th century by the renowned Italian manufacturer Dal Vera—proudly bearing its original brass maker's mark from the Milan showroom—this small armchair features a sturdy yet lightweight bent bamboo frame tightly woven with natural rattan and wicker. The beautifully curved backrest showcases an intricate geometric weave, highlighted by subtle vertical bands of dyed red and dark blue accents. Standing elegantly on its original small metal castors, it offers both mobility and a highly distinctive silhouette. Complete with a loose striped seat cushion, it is a perfect addition to a sunroom, a vanity desk, or as a cozy, eclectic accent chair in a living room.
