Details

A superb collection of French artisanal cutlery, blending rustic natural materials with timeless mountain craftsmanship. This extensive 16-piece knife set was crafted by the prestigious Gabriel Gay & Co in Grenoble, France, during the early 1900s. The set features a mix of 2 sizes, perfectly suited for a dynamic table service: 8 large dinner knives and 8 smaller fruit or cheese knives. Each piece is characterized by a solid handle carved from genuine horn, showcasing a beautiful range of natural honey and amber tones with unique grain patterns. The blades are made of high-quality French steel, bearing the original manufacturer's stamp from Grenoble. These knives offer a wonderful tactile experience and a substantial weight, making them a perfect addition to a rustic-chic tablescape or a sophisticated alpine-inspired dining room.
