This table lamp features a lacquered tôle column in a deep forest green, enhanced by gold-leaf profiles that highlight its neoclassical proportions. Originally conceived as an Empire-style oil lamp, it was later masterfully electrified, preserving its monumental structure and the authentic patina that only time can bestow.

The piece finds its highest expression in the handcrafted lampshade, created using original vintage William Morris wallpaper. The "Willow Boughs" pattern (1887), a masterpiece of the Arts & Crafts movement, envelops the light in a weave of willow leaves, transforming the object into a small ecosystem of "everyday poetry."
